Alternatively, the soft camber can edge firmer snow for locked-in stability on bulletproof ice. SnoPlanks built the Model A with a stiff, poppy bamboo core strung together with carbon filaments that drastically increase stiffness without adding much weight. Its topsheet boasts a more-complex triax weave for greater torsional flex, resulting in a much more responsive ride.
