From the legendary Tom Ritchey comes the Ritchey Break-Away Cyclocross Frame. This unique frameset is designed to be split in half and fit in a travel case. Ritchey does not guarantee that it will conform with all airline restrictions, but it makes travelling with your bike easier and more convenient. For additional convenience, the Ritchey Break-Away Cross Frame comes with a hard-sided case with small wheels for storage and transportation.The Ritchey Break-Away Cross frame is constructed from heat treated butted chromoly steel and includes rack eyelets and bridgeless chainstays for increased tire clearance. Up front, Ritchey provides their Ritchey Comp Carbon Cross Fork and a headset. The patented system to split up the frame adds only 100 grams to the frame. A front cable hanger is not included necessitating using a hanger with split cable stops for easier disassembly for shipping.
