Ridley's Fenix was born from the need for a comfortable endurance road bike with aggressive handling. Three generations later, we're witness to the Fenix SLiC Disc Rival AXS Road Bike. It presents the ideal combination of aerodynamics with power transfer and, of course, comfort. This bike is made for big-mile days on pavement, for big climbs, and for sprinting across the flats with purpose. The Fenix line itself boasts a unique design that's meant for riding every kind of road out there. This line is developed with performance and comfort in mind, making it a high-level endurance bike with precise handling and responsiveness. The Fenix is ridden by everyone from the pros to new, dedicated riders. These bikes are recognizable especially because of the diamond-shaped downtube that can be found on every Fenix, which increases the frame's durability while enhancing sleek aesthetics. We appreciate that the thin rear triangle, 27. 2mm seatpost, and curved top tube all increase comfort for our ride. This makes hours on end in the saddle a breeze, even when we're faced with a grueling headwind or steep, arduous climbs. The Fenix tubing excels at combining stiffness and comfort, and oval tubes on the seatstays combine that same level of comfort with superb power transfer. Because the seatstays feature a lower point of contact, both the seat tube and seatpost can filter out vibrations more effectively. In turn, the wide bottom bracket, diamond-shaped down tube, wide head tube, and reactive fork are constructed to increase power transfer so watts are never wasted when we're pushing ourselves to the limit. Ridley utilizes a Toray carbon layup to make this Fenix as stiff and durable as it is light and (fairly) affordable. The 0-shaped steerer tube means all cables are fully integrated to make for a sleek and streamlined look with huge aerodynamic advantages.
