Considering the countless base miles we've ticked off in its predecessor, the Louis Garneau LT Enerblock Men's Jacket has some big sleeves to fill. The previous Enerblock Jackets have been key to turning what would be miserable winter base miles into enjoyable outings where, though our exposed noses might suffer, our cores remain relatively comfortable. The LT Enerblock doesn't disappoint, but it does expand on that legacy with an updated fabric composition. Like the Enerblock material it replaces, LT Enerblock creates a warm, dry microclimate with a windproof, waterproof membrane that keeps body heat in while keeping the elements at bay. LT Enerblock is also breathable, so it still lets water vapor out when perspiration rates rise with exertion levels, and the LT prefix suggests some increased stretch compared to the previous material. The HeatMaxx panels are placed at the elbow joints, underarms, and across the back, which ensure they perform their insulating, breathing duties without compromising the chest, shoulders', and forearms', weather-resistant properties. The LT Enerblock Jacket is cut to accommodate layering, so its utility extends well into the low 30s or ev...
