The armhole binding is also stretchy, so you won't be restricted if you take the Alpha onto the Nordic ski trails or out for a cold-weather jog. The Alpha might be lightweight and easily packable, but it's not minimalist when it comes to features. Two zippered pockets, one at the front and one at the back, let you stash away snacks and a multitool, while the offset front zipper, brushed collar top, and soft zipper garage prevent chin irritation.
