Butora's Icarus approach shoe is built with to-the-toe lacing, large rubber rands and a comfortable, fairly-wide, fit. The Icarus uses Butora's most durable NeoForce rubber compound, which incidentally also feels incredibly sticky. The sole is climbing oriented with mostly flat, high-traction zones and only a few shallow lugs.
