Campagnolo EKAR Rear DerailleurCampagnolo's new Ekar rear derailleur was engineered using Campagnolo's industry leading experience and technology. The Ekar derailleur is designed to be used in conjunction with the new Ekar 1x13-speed groupset and has been optimized specifically for use on gravel surfaces. A single rear derailleur design means that you can easily swap between any of the available three cassette options without having to change your derailleur. Its pulley wheels feature differentiating tooth-counts (12T upper, 14T lower) which improves chain retention and overall drivetrain fluidity. The carbon fiber reinforced polyamide and anodized 7075 and 6082 alloys make up the derailleur's body and pulley cage. This blend of carbon fiber and various alloys produces an extremely durable derailleur exterior as well as keeping the overall derailleur weight low. The clutch system built into the derailleur keeps the chain properly tensioned while riding over rough terrain and is easy to disengage while removing the rear wheel.
