The complete carbon construction saves grams for an ultralight feel in hand while the collapsible design lets us stash this pair in our pack when it's time to harvest fresh powder turns. Plus the redesigned basket still flexes to adapt to changing angles but it now has a stronger connection to the pole to keep it from popping out when the skintrack starts to get real steep.
