The Armada Metallica x JJ 2.0 Skis are a limited edition graphic version of the cult classic JJ 2.0 skis. Who knew, but the guys over at Metallica are actually big skiers and Armada is their favorite brand. So the Master of Puppets teamed up with the designers in the Armada lab and created the most bad ass colab we have seen!Featuring a ridiculously low swing weight, slightly wider tips for better float at slower speeds, longer contact points, and a longer turning radius, the JJ 2.0's will have you ripping down pow like never before. Thanks to the 5-dimensional sidecut, the JJ 2.0 skis carve like a race ski (even at 115mm underfoot). The JJ skis were engineered with AR50 Construction, meaning they have a traditional sidewall underfoot for superior edge grip and a cap in the tip and tail to help reduce swing weight and resist chipping. The core of the JJ is made from a Hybrid Ultralight wood, which is super quick and lively, but when you add in the fiberglass laminate matrix it is still plenty stiff to handle a downhill style runout. Add in Armada's speedy Comp Series base and burly 1.7mm Impact Edges, and you have a pair of skis that looks like they are ready to party on the outside, but are tough enough to handle speed and bumps when things get serious.
