Updated weight to match the LT and SV versions, the Arc'teryx LEAF Assault Shirt AR is a durable multi-season combat uniform top, designed for wear under body armor. As with the previous versions, the shirt is built from no-melt, no-drip materials. The mesh venting has been removed from the underarms, while other features have been added to assist the end-user. The low-profile collar now uses a zipper instead of buttons similar to the LT version, Velcro has replaced the arm cuff buttons, and a small pen holder has been added to the arms. The Assault Shirt AR features previous key removable soft foam pads for joint protection to the elbows.
