Get all the information needed to enjoy a thru-hike while minimizing the impact on the trail from the experts from REI. This course will cover Appalachian Trail history Leave No Trace food prep and processing equipment and travel logistics. The class will be taught by an experienced AT thru-hiker and there will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
