THE LIFE OF A MAID We honestly don't think that the life of a maid would be too bad. Sure, you spend most of your day cleaning up after someone else, and yes it might get repetitive. But that doesn't mean there aren't some other pretty awesome perks. For one, you get to live in a gorgeous house. If the people you clean for can afford a maid, odds are they are pretty wealthy! If they are wealthy then they probably have a big gorgeous house, and you probably get to live there! That doesn't sound too shabby, right? Not only that, you get to hear the whole families gossip. You might just be in their office, dusting the bookshelf, when they storm in and start ranting about what so and so did at work that day. You'd have the inside scoop on everything, it'd be like living in a reality TV show! FUN DETAILS This costume will transform you from a person living in the 21st century to a maid living far in the past. You'll be wearing a black dress, with long sleeves and a white collar. That collar will go perfectly with your white apron, which you'll be wearing over the dress. Last but not least, you'll be wearing the white hat you see pictured above. Hats like these are essential for any maid's costume! All you will need now is your own feather duster, and your costume will be complete! WHY A WHITE APRON? One thing that we have never understood is why a maid would want to wear a white apron. Sure, it looks nice and all, but it just doesn't seem practical. If you are going to be cleaning, wouldn't you want to wear clothes that won't show stains? Why put on a white apron that will easily stain when you are already wearing a black dress that wouldn't show a stain? Just some food for thought.
