The Squash Snowboard took resort riders by storm last season, so Nitro split the Squash for backcountry touring. The Squash Splitboard sports the same all-mountain, corduroy-carving, powder-floating shape with a lighter construction to keep you touring the backcountry. Rocking a True Camber profile that'll bring old-school power to your ride, as well as a smile to your face, the Squash is made for going fast, railing turns, and stacking up some serious G-forces. But when you're not making every other person on the mountain feel slow, the Squash's swallowtail and slightly set back shape ups the surf-stoke and helps keep the fatty nose above the pow. Nitro made the Squash's core out of a lighter, thinner poplar wood that still offers plenty of snap in and out of each turn. Bi-Lite laminates stiffen the board to provide a moderate flex suitable for most riders. The sintered base boasts the durable abrasion-resistance required for backcountry riding. Nitro finished the Squash off with beefy, easy-to-use tip & tail hook as well as additional aluminum hooks for a more secure lock.
