The Squash Snowboard took resort riders by storm last season, so Nitro split the Squash for backcountry touring. The Squash Splitboard sports the same all-mountain, corduroy-carving, powder-floating shape with a lighter construction to keep you touring the backcountry. Rocking a True Camber profile that'll bring old-school power to your ride, as well as a smile to your face, the Squash is made for going fast, railing turns, and stacking up some serious knuckle-dragging G-forces. But when you're not making every other person on the mountain feel slow, the Squash's swallowtail and slightly set back shape ups the surf-stoke and helps keep the fatty nose above the pow, so while your homies are stuck and postholing out of the flats, you'll be pitching snowballs and laughing from the lift heading up to claim seconds. Nitro made the Squash's core out of a lighter, thinner poplar wood that still offers plenty of snap in and out of each turn. Bi-Lite laminates stiffen the board to provide a moderate flex suitable for most riders. The sintered base boasts the durable abrasion-resistance required for backcountry riding. Nitro finished the Squash off with beefy, easy-to-use tip & tail hook as well as additional aluminum hooks for a more secure lock.
